-Responsorial Psalm (Psalm 92:2-3, 13-14, 15-16) - EM pages 202-203
R (cf. 2a) Lord, it is good to give thanks to you.
Ðáp: Lạy Chúa, thiện hảo thay việc khen ngợi Chúa! (x. c. 2a).
It is good to give thanks to the LORD,
to sing praise to your name, Most High,
To proclaim your kindness at dawn
and your faithfulness throughout the night.
R Lord, it is good to give thanks to you.
Xướng: Thiện hảo thay việc khen ngợi Chúa, và đàn ca danh Ngài, ôi Ðấng Tối Cao, hầu loan truyền tình thương Ngài vào buổi sớm, và lòng trung tín Ngài vào lúc ban đêm.
The just one shall flourish like the palm tree,
like a cedar of Lebanon shall he grow.
They that are planted in the house of the LORD
shall flourish in the courts of our God.
R Lord, it is good to give thanks to you.
Xướng: Người hiền đức như cây chà là nở hoa tươi tốt, vươn mình lên như cây hương bá đất Liban. Họ được vun trồng trong nhà Chúa, trong hành lang nhà Thiên Chúa chúng tôi họ nở bông.
They shall bear fruit even in old age;
vigorous and sturdy shall they be,
Declaring how just is the LORD,
my rock, in whom there is no wrong.
R Lord, it is good to give thanks to you.
Alleluia (Philippians 2:15d, 16a)
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Shine like lights in the world
as you hold on to the word of life.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Alleluia: (Pl 2:15d, 16a)
Alleluia, alleluia! – Giữa thế hệ đó, anh em phải chiếu sáng như những vì sao trên vòm trời, là làm sáng tỏ Lời ban sự sống. – Alleluia.
Prayer of the Faithful
Priest Celebrant
In prayer, God helps us to see the log to be removed from our eyes.
We present these prayers, confident that God supports the world with grace.
Deacon or Lector
A That the Church humbly accept just criticisms,
and always look for ways to better proclaim the Gospel of Christ,
let us pray to the Lord:
B That peoples of every nation deepen a commitment to civil speech,
and through family practice, cultivate the minds of all young people,
let us pray to the Lord:
C That society may continue to value the contribution of the elderly,
and seek new ways for wisdom to be shared among the generations,
let us pray to the Lord:
D That all people of faith excel in the works of charity,
giving thanks to God for blessings without number,
let us pray to the Lord:
E That those among us who are facing death
may have the strong support of family and community,
and be assured of the victory that awaits the faithful,
let us pray to the Lord:
Priest Celebrant
Let us thank you, Lord, our God,
