Prayer of the Faithful

Priest Celebrant

Confident that God, who feeds us, will hear our prayers,
we present our concerns.

Deacon or Lector

A. That the people of God find strength for their journey
in the most holy Eucharist,
let us pray to the Lord:

B. That civil authorities work effectively with the private sector
to provide adequate food, work, and shelter for all,
let us pray to the Lord:

C. That communities ensure effective help
for those who suffer from mental or emotional illness,
let us pray to the Lord:

D. That those who struggle to understand God's plan for their lives
find the wisdom to face what seem like evil days,
let us pray to the Lord:

E. That all at this table, especially those who have been estranged,
be reconciled to God and to one another in this Eucharist of love,
let us pray to the Lord:

Priest Celebrant

God, in your compassion,
hear the prayers we offer you,
through Christ our Lord.
