Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good morning!
Today we celebrate the First Sunday of Advent which is the beginning of the new liturgical year 2019. This Sunday also starts the Advent Season, the four weeks long preparation for Christmas celebration.
The liturgy during Advent helps reviving the Christian Community’s eagerness in waiting for the Coming of Christ Who brings salvation to the sinful human race.
We pray in this Holy Mass for the blessing of being always awake and ready to meet Christ when He comes.
