a) To the Holy Mass
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Welcome to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy Mass celebration. The Liturgy of the Word of this XVI Sunday in the Ordinary Time, Year B, introduces to us the Lord God Who loves and cares for His people as a good shepherd loves and cares for his sheep.
We are God’s people and His sheep. We feel safe in the hands of God and we strive being worthy of His love and care.
Please all stand for the entrance hymn.

- First Reading Jer 23:1-6
The Lord God always loves and cares for His people the way a good shepherd does his sheep. God will not leave His people to the mercy of false leaders, but send good ones to serve them after His salvation plan.
- Second Reading Eph 2:13-18
Christ through His sacrifice on the Cross brought the blessing of reconciliation between God and humankind and established peace among nations and peoples.
