A. Introduction
a.
To
the Holy Mass
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Welcome to Saint
Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy Mass celebration. We learn from this tenth Sunday of Ordinary
Time, Year B, the message of God’s word that tells us how Jesus Christ, our
Lord and Savior, has to work hard to save humanity from evil consequences of
sin. Therefore, only by professing our
faith in Jesus can we be raised up from death to life by God the Father.
We pray earnestly for
the blessing of repentance and conversion to God so that we deserve God’s
merciful love manifest in Christ Suffering, Death and Resurrection.
Please all stand for the entrance hymn.
b.
To
the Readings
- First Reading: Gn 3:9-15
The Holy Bible relates
the failure of our first parents in observing God’s commandment. Their sin has caused disastrous impacts on
generations. However, God taking His
seat on the tribunal gave sinners full hope for salvation by the coming
Messiah.
- Second Reading: 2 Cor
4:13-5:1
Saint Paul assures
Christians of a new life that will come and replace all forms of corruption of
our present physical conditions, provided we put our trust in Jesus, our Lord
and Savior.
