A. Introduction
a) To the Holy Mass
Dear Sisters and
Brothers in Christ,
Good morning!
Welcome to Saint
Dominic’s Parish Church for the celebration of the Sixth Sunday of Easter,
Cycle B.
Saint John gave the definition of God’s nature that goes “God is
love.” As the result of this truth, love means an essential and fundamental part of Christianity. Christians are bound with the New Commandment
of love, to bear witness to how God loved them when He sent Christ Jesus, His Only
Son, Who suffered, died and rose back to life, in order to grant humanity forgiveness and salvation.
We pray to Christ
for the grace of profound gratitude with which we Christians build a world full
of love, compassion and peace.
Please all stand
for the entrance hymn.
b) To the Readings
- First Reading Acts
10:25-26.34-35.44-48
God’s love knows
no limit when He stretches His saving power to peoples living beyond the
boundary of Israel.
- Second Reading 1 Jn
4:7-10
God loved us
first and sent His Son to us in order to enable us to love Him. For this reason, those who love their
neighbor are born by God and know God.
