A. Introduction:
a) To the Holy Mass
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good morning!
Welcome to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy Mass
celebration. This Sunday is dedicated to
honoring Christ, the Risen Lord as the Good Shepherd Who always feeds His sheep
with His Word and Body and Blood.
We pray in this Holy Mass for the Church, the flock which Christ so loved
that He laid down His life for their salvation.
We also pray for the leaders of the Church so that they may strive to
become loving and caring shepherds modeled after Christ.
Please all stand for the entrance hymn.
b) To the Readings
- First Reading: Acts
4:8-12
Through His Suffering, Death, and Resurrection, Christ, the Risen Lord, has
become the unique source of saving power for humanity of all times. In His Name alone will we all be saved.
- Second Reading: 1 Jn
3:1-2
In Christ we receive the grace of being God’s adoptive children. This is already a reality in our everyday
life, but it will fully be revealed one day in heaven.
