A. Introduction
a) To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome
to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the celebration of our Sunday Holy
Mass. As we observe the worship of God on the XXVIII Sunday, the Gospel
tells us to do our best to accomplish our assignment by working for His
kingdom, in order to be worthy of His trust in our goodwill.
Those
who for different reasons refuse to take part in the earthly gathering will be
unable to share in the heavenly celebration.
Kindly
all stand for the entrance hymn.
b) To the Readings
- First
Reading Is 25:6-10 a
The
Lord God always shows His kindness to humans by granting them countless
blessings. However, seldom do they realize God’s love and care.
Concerns for earthly interest and glory have turned them disrespectful and
ungrateful children.
- Second
Reading Phil 4:12-14.19-20
Full
trust in God’s love and care becomes the ground for Christians to stand firm
either in fortune or misfortune, confident that they would serve God’s will not
only in shining days but also in stormy and dark moments of their
life.
