A. Introduction
a. To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome to Saint Dominic’s Parish
Church for the Sunday Holy Mass celebration.
As we celebrate the twenty-seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A, today,
the Word of God sends us the message that shows, on the one hand, how Divine
Mercy and Love prevails over our human unfaithfulness. On the other, we should
take full responsibility for what we have done for the building of God’s
Kingdom.
We pray hard in this Holy Mass for the
blessing of being honest and grateful children of God, our heavenly Father.
Our Holy Mass presider today is
Reverend Fr. John Nguyen Thien Minh, O.P.
Kindly all stand for the entrance
hymn.
b. To the Readings
-
First Reading: Is 5:1-7
God’s
love and care for His People can be compared with the love and care of a farmer
who looks after his crops. God always
expects good harvest from His faithful believers.
-
Second Reading: Phil 4:6-9
Saint
Paul urges Christians to look for all that is true, honorable, just, pure,
lovely, and gracious in order to be worthy of God’s peace.
