Introduction
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the
Sunday Holy Mass celebration. This
Sunday we start the first part of Ordinary Time, Year A, including eight Sundays
before we enter the Lenten Season.
Ordinary Time has no other proper celebrations but
focuses more on the Mystery of the Lord’s Resurrection. In other words, Ordinary Time is the
continuation and expansion in depth of Easter Sunday. Christian Community contemplates in strong
faith and grateful heart God’s merciful love for sinful humanity manifest in
the person of Jesus Christ, from His Birth to His Death and Resurrection.
We pray in this Holy Mass for the blessing of being
witnesses to God’s saving power before all peoples and nations.
Please all stand for the entrance hymn.
