A. Introduction
a) To the Holy Mass
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good morning!
Welcome to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy
Mass celebration. As we are approaching
the end of the liturgical year, we listen to the Word of God urging us to
discover and appreciate the values of eternal life. Knowing that our true home is not here on
earth but in heaven, we would be wise to get more care and concern for our
final goal: life ever-happy and ever-lasting in Christ.
In return for this great blessing, Christians cannot help but
fight for their faithfulness to the Lord and Savior who is forever the greatest
reward for which we all hope.
Kindly all stand for the entrance hymn.

To the Readings
-
First Reading: 2 Mc
7:1-2.9-14
The
mother and her seven sons would rather die for their faith in God than compromise
their religious principles for a life of safety and comfort on earth.
-
Second Reading: 2 Thes
2:16-3:5
We
Christians need God’s blessing and Christ’s strength to persevere in our
service of the Lord to the end.
