Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Welcome
to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy Mass celebration.
Today
we celebrate the Twenty-seventh Sunday in the Ordinary Time, Year C. The message of God’s Word first urges us to
put our trust in God who always listens to our prayer and surely comes to help
us. It also warns us of the danger of
power and money of which the abuse or misuse may cause people to lose true and
lasting happiness.

First Reading: Hb 1:2-3; 2:2-4
Faith in God
means trust in His love and care. It
also presupposes patience and hope. God’s blessings may come slowly but never
late.

Second Reading 2 Tim 1:6-8.13-14
Christians
are sure that the Holy Spirit is always working in the life of the Church to
guide their way in accordance with the Gospel values.
