A. Introdiction
a) To the Holy Mass
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good morning!
Welcome to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for
the Sunday Holy Mass celebration. As we
celebrate the XXIII Sunday in Ordinary Time, Christ plainly tells His audience the
conditions which they should meet in order to follow Him on His missionary
journey. Those who wish to work for God’s Kingdom
should detach themselves from selfishness and those who really want to join in His
saving project should wisely ponder on many and different aspects so as to be surely
successful and fruitful.
We pray in this Holy Mass for those living in
the consecrated life to be faithful to their commitment to serving God and
neighbor without any reserve.
Please all stand to sing the entrance hymn. b) To the Readings
a) First Reading: Wis 9:13-18b:
Human beings are limited even in knowing things on earth. God alone knows everything because He is the
Master of the universe and Creator of humanity.
b) Second Reading: Phil 9-10.12-17:
Saint Paul urges Christians to show respect and love to those of humble social
status, aware that they were also saved by Christ as we all were.
