A. Introduction:
a) To the Holy Mass
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good morning!
Welcome to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy
Mass celebration. As today we celebrate
the Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Cycle C, the message of the Word of God
gives us a strong reminder of how Christians have to suffer for being faithful
to their Lord and Savior. Prophets and
righteous persons sent by God to tell humanity the truth about their sin and
what they should do for their salvation have been rejected and persecuted. Christ Himself was cruelly treated with the
same fate. But Christ did His best to
accomplish God’s salvation plan for the human race and, as the result of that
act of filial obedience, He was raised up the highest glory of heaven.
We pray hard in this Holy Mass for the blessing of being
proud children of God, working for the great glory of our heavenly Father,
regardless of challenges and difficulties in the way of serving Him and His
Kingdom.
Kindly all stand for the entrance hymn.
