A. Introduction
a) to the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome
to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the celebration of Sunday Holy Mass. As we celebrate the XXI Sunday in ordinary
Time today, the message of God’s Word encourages us to be strong and
persevering in obtaining the Kingdom of heaven.
Our
journey on earth going to heaven is a long and difficult process through which
each and one of us need being purified from things and people that stand in the
way. More important for Christians is to
do all you believe are good to their brothers and sisters less fortunate than
they so that one day their good deeds will be appreciated by Christ our Lord.
We
pray to the Lord for the grace of being always faithful to our commitment to
serving the Lord and neighbor.
Please
all stand for the entrance hymn.
b)
to the Readings
-
First Reading Is 66:18-21
There will
be a time when the Lord God calls peoples from all four corners of the earth to
Jerusalem for the solemn worship of their Heavenly King of glory.
-
Second Reading
Saint Paul
teaches all believers this truth that God always applies strict measures of
discipline to those whom He loves. If we
are His children, we have good reason to be proud of being corrected by our
Father and thankful for His exceptional care.
