A. Introduction
a) To the Holy Mass
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good morning!
Welcome to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy
Mass celebration.
Today, we celebrate the Fourteenth Sunday in the Ordinary
Time, Year C.
The message of God’s Word invites each and one of us to be
ready for the mission of preaching the Good News of salvation brought to the
world by Christ, our Lord. We should
accomplish our work with humility and without personal interest. It is the Lord, the Master of the harvest,
Who will repay the workers beyond their expectation.
We pray to the Lord for the willingness to take part in the
building of God’s Kingdom through the proclamation of the Good News of Divine
Mercy.
Kindly all stand for the entrance hymn.

To the Readings
-
First Reading: Is
66:10-14c
God’s
love of His people was described by the Prophet Isaiah as that of a mother who
cares for her children. It seems that
God prefers being known as Divine Mercy to Divine Justice.
-
Second Reading: Gal
6:14-18
Saint
Paul urges Christians to find the foundation for their glory in the cross of
Christ, our Lord and Savior. They should
not allow themselves to boast in false pride.
