A. Introduction
a) To The Holy Mass
Dear Sisters
and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome to
Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy Mass celebration. This Sunday we celebrate the solemnity of the
Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. We
worship the real presence of Christ in the Sacrament of the Eucharist and we
are profoundly grateful to our Lord and Savior for giving us His Body and Blood
to be our food for eternal life.
When we
receive the Body and Blood of Christ, we are united with Him and with one
another, so that, in the words of Saint Paul, it is no longer we who live but
it is Christ Who lives in us.
Please all
stand for the entrance hymn.

To The Readings
- First Reading: Gn 14:18-20
In the Old
Testament, the Priest Melchizedek offered God bread and wine. In the New Testament, Christ offered God His
own life for the forgiveness of the sins of humankind.
- Second Reading: 1 Cor 11:23-26
In tune with
the teaching of the Gospel, Saint Paul emphasizes the truth that Christ founded
the Sacrament of the Eucharist in which He allows us to share in His own life,
suffering, death and resurrection.
