Introduction
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome
the Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy Mass celebration. As we celebrate the Third Sunday of Easter
today, the message of God’s Word assures us that the saving power of the Risen
Lord is always at work in our lives, both as individuals and communities. The disciples of Christ should be determined
in serving God’s truth no matter how difficult this mission may be. Let us listen to Saint Peter’s declaration,
“We must obey God rather than men.” Only
those who are faithful to the Lamb can join one day in the triumphant
procession into the kingdom of endless life and happiness.
We
pray hard in this Holy Mass for the blessing of being witnesses to truth that
the Risen Lord and Savior rose to life and that He is now living in our
everyday struggle for eternal happiness.
Kindly
all stand for the entrance hymn.

To the Readings
-
First Reading: Acts 5:27-32.40b-41
The message
of Christ’s Resurrection met, from the very beginning, hostile reactions. The disciples had to pay a costly price for
courageously spreading the truth entrusted to them, eyewitnesses to the happenings
concerning God’s merciful love toward the sinful humankind.
-
Second Reading: Rv 5:11-14
The solemn
and glorious entrance into the heavenly Jerusalem was led by the once slain
Lamb inspires and strengthens generations of Christians to perseveringly serve
the just cause of God’s merciful love seen in the life, suffering, death and
resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
