Introduction
a)To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
This
Sunday we solemnly celebrate Christ’s entrance into the Holy City of Jerusalem,
where he was greeted by thousands of people with shouts of joy and waves of branches. The Church starts today the Holy Week in
preparation for Easter Sunday on next Sunday.
Please
all stand for the entrance hymn.
b) To the Readings
-
First Reading: Is 50:4-7
The Prophet
Isaiah depicts the face of the suffering Servant of God as that of a believer
in the Almighty’s love and care, regardless of false accusations, injustices
and persecutions.
-
Second Reading: Phil 2:6-11
Christ
humbled Himself to the point that He gave up His divine glory and took our
