Introduction
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome
to Saint Dominic’s Church for the celebration of the Sunday Holy Mass on the
Third Sunday of Lent, Year C.
The
Word of God for this Sunday celebration tells us about the mercy of God, Who
came to bring salvation to humanity. God
is merciful and patient with our weakness and imperfection so that we may go
back to Him for forgiveness and new life.
We
pray hard in this Holy Mass for the blessing of repentance of our sin and
conversion to God’s love.
Please
all stand for the entrance hymn.

To the Readings
-
First Reading: Ex 3:1-8.13-15
The Lord God
appeared to the great Prophet Moses and introduced Himself as “I Am Who Am”,
the meaning of which we could understand by witnessing countless good things performed
by Him in the History of Salvation.
-
Second Reading: 1 Cor 10:1-6.10-12
Saint Paul
teaches us Christians to learn from the lives of previous generations to be, on
the one hand, strongly built up on the faith in Christ, our Lord and Savior;
and, on the other, to stay fully aware of our weakness in order not to fall
victims of pride and arrogance.
