Introduction
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome
to Saint Dominic’s Church for the Sunday Holy Mass celebration.
Today
we celebrate the feast of the Holy Family of our Lord Jesus, the Blessed Virgin
Mother and Saint Joseph.
The
Holy Family is the perfect model for Christians to build their families where
faithfulness unites the spouses, love and care bind parents and children
together.
We
pray to the Lord for the blessing of happy, united and loving families the
foundation and the heart of which is Christ Himself.
Please
all stand for the entrance hymn.
b)
To the Readings
-
First Reading: 1 Sam 1:20-22.24-28
With
profound gratitude for the gift of childbirth, Hannah, the mother of Samuel, offered
her son to the Lord in order for the boy to serve God all the days of his life.
-
Second Reading: 1 Jn 3:1-2.21-24
Saint John
teaches the truth that God the Father has granted us the dignity of being His
adopted children because we believe in Christ and keep His commandments with
the help of the Holy Spirit.
