Introduction:
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome
to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the celebration of Sunday Holy Mass. Today is the first day of November which is
traditionally dedicated to commemorating all Christians who have accomplished
their mission on earth and who are now living in so loving and so happy a union
with God in heaven.
We,
though just being on the way to the so much desired kingdom of peace and
lasting joy, feel very much encouraged by fixing our gaze on how those holy men
and women knew well to facilitate the meeting between their limited human
resources and the unlimited power of divine mercy in order to fully collaborate
with God’s saving project.
Please
all stand for the entrance hymn.

To the Readings
-
First Reading: Rv 7:2-4.9-14
The Book of
Revelation gives a concise report on how the saints deserve their ever-happy
life in heaven as follows, “These are the ones who have survived the time of
great distress; they have washed their robes and made them white in the Blood
of the Lamb.”
-
Second Reading: 1 Jn 3:1-3
Saint John
in his First Letter finds a close and strong link between human love and divine
love. God’s love remains the basis and
the soul of our human love. Our human
love, in turn, shows the face of God’s love in us.
