Introduction
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome
to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy Mass celebration. Today we celebrate the 25th Sunday
in the ordinary Time, Year B.
The
Gospel message for this Sunday teaches us the truth that it is not by exercising
ruling power but rather by dedicating one’s life to the service of God and
people that a person becomes great.
We
pray hard in this Holy Mass for the blessing of being helpful both to the
kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of earth.
We
also pray for our friends Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh Anh and Samuel Harvath as they
receive the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony to start the building of a Christian
family today. May Christ our Lord unite
them forever in love, happiness and faithfulness.
Kindly
all stand for the entrance hymn.

To the Readings
-
First Reading Wis 2:12.17-20:
Good people
are the target of all forms of injustice by the wicked. But the just by relying on the Lord God as
the strong foundation for their life will never give up being kind and
compassionate to others.
-
Second Reading Jas 3:16-4:3:
The roots of
evil actions according to Saint James can be found in a person’s heart full of
sinful passions. Only by uprooting those
obstacles will people enjoy peaceful and happy life.
