Introduction
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome
to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy Mass celebration. Today we offer this Holy Mass to praise,
glorify, and thank the Most Holy Trinity, One God but three Divine Persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We
owe the Holy Trinity a sea of gratitude: God the Father created us from
nothing; God the Son saved us from sin and death; God the Holy Spirit teaches
us the Commandment of God’s love and makes us holy.
In
this Holy Mass we pray hard to the Most Holy Trinity for the blessing of
eternal life which has already grown up since we were baptized in the name of
the Triune God, Creator and Savior.
Please
all stand for the entrance hymn.
b)
To the Readings
-
First Reading Dt 4:32-34.39-40
In his
instruction to the people of Israel, the great Prophet Moses urges them not to
forget the blessings which Yahweh God bestowed on them. Sincere and profound gratitude helps people
reacting properly and justly both to God and their fellow men and women, and
deserving eternal life.
-
Second Reading Rom 8:14-17
Thanks to
the faith in Son of God, we have received the grace of divine adoption and so
are worthy, with the gift of courage by the Holy Spirit of calling the Lord God
“Daddy”.
