Introduction
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
This
Sunday we celebrate the solemn entrance of Christ Jesus, our Lord, into the
Holy City Jerusalem.
A
vast crowd raising branches of palm and shouts welcome him while some closely
observe the happenings to find the right time in order to carry out their evil
plan. They have decided to kill Jesus to
put to an end all problems which they think He has caused to happen.
But
no one knows that it is Christ Himself Who willingly performs the tragedy of
the Holy Cross for the long-awaited salvation of the sinful humanity.
Please
all stand for the entrance hymn.

To the Readings
-
First Reading Is 50:4-7:
The
Suffering Servant of God went through trials without resistance in total
confidence that the Lord God always stays at his side.
-
Second Reading Phil 2:6-11:
Few
theologians could write doctrine on the mysteries of faith in beautiful forms
of literature and music. Saint Paul proves
himself to be an exception. The mystery
of God’s self-humiliation treated with his powerful pen appears so touching a
hymn.
