Introduction
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
This Third
Sunday of Advent is called “Rejoicing Sunday” because from the Entrance
Antiphon overwhelmingly resounds Saint Paul’s Letter to the Philippians:
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice. Indeed, the Lord is near.” Therefore pink is the color theme for this
Sunday’s liturgical vestment.
In fact, of
the four weeks of Advent we have completed two in preparation for the Birthday
of Christ. We feel the joy of meeting
the Lord more active in our hearts as the world is filled with Christmas songs.
In this Holy
Mass we pray hard to the Lord for strength and determination to make straight
the way of the Lord so that His Coming to us will find no hindrance.
Please all
stand for the entrance hymn.
