Introduction
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome
to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the celebration of the Sunday Holy
Mass. This Sunday we celebrate the
dedication of the Lateran Basilica.
The
worship of God is the most important among man’s activities, for through his
worship of the Creator, man expresses his superiority over other creatures on
earth. Only man is capable of knowing God
and loving Him.
The
worship of God must, in turn, be done in a fashion proper for this sublime act
of a human being, and in a place worthy of such a religious celebration. Hence, we build temple, made sacred and
dedicated for God’s praises, glory and thanksgiving.
We
not only care for the temple of material components, but also moral and
spiritual ones. The most essential
components of God’s Holy Temple are the persons of believers.
Please
all stand for the entrance hymn.

To the Readings
-
First Reading Ez 47:1-2.8-9.12
God’s
blessings from the Holy Temple flow out the way living water comes out from
abundant source that brings countless benefits to His people who serve Him in
faith and love.
-
Second Reading 1 Cor 3:9c-11. 16-17
For Saint
Paul Christian believers offer their own lives to build up God’s Holy Temple in
which God dwells with exceptional preference over temples made of lifeless
stone.
