Introduction
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear Sisters
and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
As we celebrate the 14th Sunday in the Ordinary
Time today, we hear Our Lord Jesus Christ calling us to come to Him, so that we
may find in Him the very source of strength, peace and joy. We badly need strength to survive difficult
times of crisis. We need peace when
humanity has been torn by violent conflicts.
And we need joy because society always produces sad news.
Let us pray hard to God in this Holy Mass for blessing and
guidance in order for us to walk in the Way of justice and love in accordance
to the Good News of Christ.
Please all stand for the entrance hymn.

To the Readings
-
First Reading Zec 9:9-10
The Lord God is King of all creation and He rules over the
universe. However, he appears to His
creatures in the image of a nice, simple and even humble Master, so that He can
come to His people and they can approach Him.
-
Second Reading Rm 8:9.11-13
Saint Paul loves to repeatedly remind Christians of their
spiritual origin. They were reborn
through the power of the Risen Lord in the Sacrament of Baptism by water and
the Holy Spirit. They have to live up to
their dignity of God’s children after the example of Christ by dying to their
past sinful life and being raised to new life.
