Introduction
a)
To the Holy Mass
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good morning!
Welcome to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy Mass celebration.
As we celebrate the Fifth and last Sunday of Lent today, we know that Easter is coming nearer than ever. The Word of God urges us to go back to Him Who is forever merciful and forgiving. Because of sin, man was separated from God, the very source of life. Thus, morally and spiritually man was dead. Only by giving up our sinful past and throwing ourselves into the Father’s loving arms will we find peace, joy and new life.
Let us pray to our Heavenly Father for the grace of conversion, the blessing of going back to our Lord and Savior.
Please all stand for the entrance hymn.

To the Readings
-
First Reading Ez 37:12-14
The Lord God is the Creator, the Giver of life, Who made man
after His living and loving image. When
man committed sin, he was separated from God, the very source of life. It is the Lord God Who saves man from death
by giving him His Spirit, the breath of life.
-
Second Reading Rom 8:8-11
Saint Paul teaches that sin brought death into the
world. The saving power of Christ’s
Suffering, Death, and Resurrection destroyed the snare of sin, thus freed us
from death. The Spirit of God will raise
us up the way God raised Christ from the dead.
