A. Introduction
a) To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome
to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for our celebration of the VI Sunday in the
Ordinary Time, Year A.
Our
Lord Jesus Christ came to bring the new Way of Life and make all things
new. Therefore, people who believe in
Him are taught to give up the old and imperfect life, and embrace the new and
Gospel-inspired one, with Christ as the soul and model of all that we think,
say and act.
Kindly
al stand for the entrance hymn.
b) To the Readings
-
First Reading Sir
15:15-20
We
have to choose doing good as to opt for life, because those committed evil
deeds are led to destruction. God does
not create evil things nor does He ever tempt anyone to sin. Humans are given the gift of wisdom and
freedom to be responsible for their decisions.
-
Second Reading 1 Cor
2:6-10
God’s
wisdom surpasses far beyond human wisdom.
No one in the world can ever know it without the enlightenment of the
Holy Spirit Who leads believers into full truth.
