A. Introduction
a) To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers, good morning!
As
we gather this Sunday to worship God, we hear His message of divine wisdom
which surpasses human thinking and understanding, for man is imperfect but God
is holy. Christ tells us how to deal
wisely with this life on earth by setting aside everything and following Him.
We
pray that the Word of God may take root in our hearts and bear fruit in our
life.
Please
all stand for the entrance hymn.
b) To the Readings
- First Reading (Wis
9:13-18b):
No
man can know the counsel of God. As a
result, they are bound to make more mistakes than to carry out justice. Only when God grants people the gift of
divine wisdom are they able to well discern what is right to do and what is
wrong to avoid.
- Second Reading (Philm
9-10.12-17):
Christians
may practice their gratitude to benefactors for the good things which they have
done by doing the same not necessarily to the benefactors themselves but to
other people. This is the best way to
spread God’s love as far and deep as possible to one another.
